Bad Haircut

Kieran wanted me to give him a haircut this weekend with the electric clippers, as you may be able to tell, I did an OK job on the back and sides with the clippers, but Quinn would have done a better with the scissors cutting his bangs. It doesn't look to bad when it is "spiked" up in the front, and hopefully it doesn't take too long for it to grow back out.

Placerville- Gold Country

Spent the weekend in "gold country", stayed in a really cool old (and they say haunted) hotel called the cary house in Placerville that was the nicest place round during the gold rush. Mark Twain and a bunch of other famous folks stayed there back when the gold rush was on. There was a festival where the kids could pan for gold and gems and they had a great time exploring a mine. Really pretty up in the Sierra foothills

FairyTale Town- Sacramento

Kids spent the morning at Fairytale Town in Sacramento, they had a good time and Kieran actually knew a lot of the characters/etc. that were there. There were alot of slides and things to climb on that they both could play on.
