Eastside Park/Movie Night

Safari West

Went to Safari West today, it is like a small scale wild animal park here in Sonoma.

Weekend

Painted the room the kids will be moving to soon, they had fun helping and getting paint everywhere. Went up to the park at the top of the street so Charlie could swim in the ponds and they could throw rocks. Quinn has been carrying his Halloween bag everywhere with his prized possessions, this weekend it included:
- an old toy matchbox truck
- a piece of string cheese
- a old golf ball
- a piece of lemonhead candy

I think he is still under the impression that he may land some more candy if he is carrying it

Halloween 2009

We went around the neighborhood wit the boys trick or treating. Quinn was a little hesitant at first and would only go up to the door with Kieran, but after the first few houses and when he realized he was getting candy at each house, he couldn't be stopped. After about 30 minutes Kieran was getting tired and wanted to go home, but Quinn was still running from house to house. We ended up carrying Kieran home while Quinn kept running from house to house all the way home. His bag got too heavy for him but didn't want to have anyone else carry it. As you can see from this picture, when he got home he was worn out and sweaty from running everywhere but was just amazed with all of his candy.
