The City

We went down the city today to escape the heat. It was a cool 76 at the park we were at, 30 cooler than Windsor (40 miles North).

Great Day

Saturday Kieran had a blast. In the morning, we drove over to the beach to keep cool during the day. We hung out at Salmon Creek Beach. We packed a lunch, although I don't think we need to in the future since Kieran is content just eating all the sand. We got back to Windsor in the evening and went to the green to watch Shakespeare in the park. Kieran made some friends and he stayed up to about 930 playing and watching the actors

1st Steps

Yesterday (Thu 07/20) Kieran took his first "real" steps, 9 days before his first birthday

He loves walking back and forth and kept at it for about an hour today

Wine Country

Kieran was hanging out at the park this morning, he loves looking at all the hot air balloons that cruise around here. In the afternoon we went out to Bodega Head, probably the only place in the lower 48 where you still need a windbreaker, it was great to be able to cool off a bit

The Pool

4th of July

Kieran had a great 4th w/e. He went to his first Bday party, stayed up to see fireworks and took a bike trip to healdsburg for a picnic. We tried to get a pic in his bike helmet but he kept "posing"

Cheese Ball

Kieran's has decided to change his smile during photos so recently if he sees the camera he will squint his eyes, open his mouth wide and look up (see photo), don't know where he got that from but he enjoys it.

Chris' grad

Had a great time down in SD for Chris' graduation, Kieran absolutely loved it. He had a great time with the whole family (to include dogs)

June 2006

Kieran is enjoying the summer, he always wants to play outside, he really likes te park at the end of the street b/c there are always dogs and other kids to look at. He is getting good at walking on furniture and his first teeth have popped through

Memorial Day

For the memorial day weekend, we went to a local future farmers fair so Kieran could see all the animals. We also went into San Fran for a day and went hiking around Lake Sonoma. All in all just enjoying the area during summer

Spring

We went to the Sebastapol Apple Blossom Festival Saturday. Kieran loved it, he acted like it was the best thing in the world being around all the people and events. He really enjoyed watching the electric trains and swinging is a constant favorite

Sunday we went to a dog park near Glen Ellen, Kieran didn't know what to do looking at them all. He is now 9 months old
