Here are a few new pics just hanging around the area. Kieran loves swimming and there is a nice pool in Santa Rosa. We went on a hike last weekend in Sugarloaf park between Sonoma (the city) and Santa Rosa, near Kenwood.

Here was the progress over the weekend and early this week from the tearing down of the wall in our downstairs. It took me much longer than it should have but we are pretty happy with the results, we are going to repaint the wall so there isn't the 2 colors but painted the patched wall to see how visible the repair job was, it is actually not as noticeable as we expected, and the wall being gone has really opened up downstairs

Here is Kieran hanging out with Katie in the car, both sleeping together during the drive and waking up together when the car stopped. Kieran will be 6 monhs in just few weeks and is really developing his personality. He started rolling over last week but gets stuck on his stomach once he rolls over

Here is the little guy playing, he had his 5 month check-up and got some sots this week, he was described as a "flourishing" baby, I asked what the difference between a baby and an infant was, I got no good answer, the doc has to look it up. Our doctor wont tell us how he is doing % wise, so we looked it up for fun, he is lighter than avg. at 16 pounds 2 ounces, but longer than avg., not a bad start I guess

Kieran spent his first new years fast asleep (along with his parents), Kieran was a little fussy so we didn't go out as planned although I walked over to a friends house a block away to say Farewell to a co-worker who was recently recalled and will be spending the next 1 1/2 years in lovely Iraq

Kieran has started pulling the "frog" face made famous by a young Jay Michael, I guess it is all in the genes

Here are some shots of Kieran during his first Christmas in San Diego, Kieran had a great time hanging out with the family (and the dogs) and althugh he had no idea what was going on, he had fun playing being entertained with his new gifts

We put up the Christmas tree this weekend and Kieran likes looking at all the lights both on the houses outside as well as on the tree

Kieran is starting to eat rice cereal and oatmeal and is loving it. He started crying yesterday when Jennifer took the oatmeal away.

Here is Kieran playing with his food, he has been trying to eat baby rice for the past few days and is catching on pretty quick.
