Went camping at Point Reyes "sky camp" this weekend, really good time, our first hike in camping experience with the kids, it makes it a little more difficult since you have to hike in carrying them as well as all of their stuff, the old wagon was our savior. Kids had a great time looking for bugs and chipmunks.
a few more pics while we were camping. The kids (and dogs) had a great time at the river, they caught guppies with the nets and floated around on the little boat
Quinn got into the paint last week and caused his usual mess, also a few pics os us camping on the russian river, Kieran spent the whole weekend either at the river or playing with his toy snake
A few pics of us down in Alameda at grandpa's "baseball" house and at Kierans first A's game. They had a great time visiting with everyone and trying to pick off lemons whenever the opportunity came.
Kieran and Quinn were having so much fun in the pool, that when we finally took them out to warm up and dry off and put a robe on them, as soon as we turned around, they were back in the water again
We all went (including Charlie) to a festival today to jump off the fishing season. To say the kids and dog had a great time would be an understatement. After tooling around looking at all the firetrucks/police/helicopters/fish/activities, they went down to the mud flats and were in paradise. Quinn could not have been happier playing in the mud and throwing rocks while Kieran collected shells and tried to identify the tracks left in the mud. Kieran walked Charlie around in a "pet parade", there was a line of Llamas and other exotic animals, followed by Kieran and Charlie tugging at each other.
A short video of Quinn dancing at the fisherman festival in Bodega Bay, for the most part he was motoring close to this speed all day, exhausted on the way home to say the least.
The Charles Schultz Museum (Charlie Brown) is only about 10 minutes away. Quinn loves Snoopy so had a great time playing there and there was a space exhibit that they would not stop playing with
